Reno State was very persistent, calling almost every day to make an offer with Ibrahim. Ibrahim was amazed by the coach’s tenacity.

Track and Field:  SRHS’s track team has been having an awesome season this year working really hard and setting new records. Varsity boys have been getting lots of injuries, giving freshmen and sophomores the chance to take over. The girls have been outstanding. Many new records have been set by this year’s girls, who have only lost one meet so far this season. Led by Marisa Troppy and Georgi Ryan, the girls also have the best shot-put and discus throwers in the history of SRHS, with the most girls able to throw the shotput over thirty feet and the discus over one hundred feet.
