Sift Cupcake and Dessert Bar is a cute shop downtown that sells delectable cupcakes. Owner of Sift, Andrea, was recently on the TV show Cupcake Wars, and she won!

Andrea’s parents, both bakers, inspired her to be a baker. She says she basically grew up around the mixing bowl.

I didn’t know what to expect on the drive to Jasmine Thai with my parents. When we arrived I was not excited. Located in a shabby, unlit strip mall in Rohnert Park it did not draw my eye.

But when we stepped in, it changed. We walked into a very well lit restaurant with happy smiling people and smooth jazz playing softly in the background.
