  • While rebel forces begin securing the final remnants of the autocratic regime of Colonel Muammar Gaddafi, observers of the world eagerly await the resolution of a conflict that has embroiled Libya for the past six months.

  • To many (especially teachers), the No Child Left Behind Act seems to be one of the worst things to come out of the Bush administration, with its unattainable expectations for both the students and teachers.

NCLB has also been accused of not really helping schools or students, especially ones that are in poor neighborhoods. Not surprisingly, yet another problem has sprung from this NCLB dilemma: what has been happening with Maria Carillo.

On January 8, 2011, would-be assassin Jared Lee Loughner opened fire on a crowd of people, including Representative Giffords, in front of a Safeway store near Tuscon with a Glock model 19 9mm handgun loaded with a 33 round magazine (not a clip, as the media commonly states).

For example, no matter how much Charlie Sheen is "winning," newscasters should be airing stories about Libya or the crisis that’s happening in Japan.
